For those of you who are not familiar with what a Ducati is.. Lets just say, for me to save up for a Ducati as my first bike, thats the equivalent of ...learning how to drive in a Lamborghini, or having a Ferrari as a first car... (Now, factor in the fact its two wheels, and if you mess up a tiny bit with the brakes or leaning, etc, you fall onto the freeway.)

Which reminds me, they raced a Ducati against a Lamborghini... two different models!

What? A Motorcycle?

Yes, its true.. I am starting to save up for my first motorcycle. You may be thinking, "What? WHY! those are dangerous/gay/for guys/etc!!" To which i say, "Ohhhhh??? Too bad; its decided.."

I am going to be saving up for a 2009 Ducati Monster 696...
For those of you know know what this is, and would like to argue with me about how i need a kawasaki ninja, or triumph, or this other bike or that other bike... Let me just say that I've looked and looked and i agree with you that those are fucking awesome bikes to start with too, and i probably should be starting with one of those.

HOWEVER,

this Ducati is not super-mother-fucking-rediculous powerful like its older siblings. The fact that it wont be so super powerful, and heavy is good... I think that it'd be actually WISE to get the "Weak/not-as-powerful/smaller" 696 seeing as how, Firstly, i have no experience handling motorcycles, i'm 5'7'' Girl, and i'm super obsessed with Ducatis (so i would end up rubbing my naked body all over the damn thing 24/7 and would probably make someone's day)....

Anyway, just had to make a journal-entry dedicated to my future sexy Ducati.. Plans are to have it in 6-12 months if all goes well.

I love bikes too, specially the Ducati 1098S and others like Yamaha R1, Honda Cbr 1000, Suzuki Gsx R 1000.

OMG i know! Aren't those bikes just amazing? I don't think it'd be wise for me to get one of those as a first bike however, haha! (Not that the 696 is a kiddie bike either... i mean i hear it can still get up to 60 in 3 or 4 seconds? But that was just from some guy, i don't know how accurate that is.)
I saw your picture of that suziki! So nice! When i finally get mine i'll have to poset some pictures up here. =)

Ducati's are awesome!

When I first started to look and search about bikes I found the video os the 1098S beating a Lamborguini! That was like "Omg, that is so awesome.... I want a Ducati!"

The thing is that here in Brazil the bikes cost "body parts", so expensive =(.
Easily going for 100% more than other countries like U.S and Canada.

Poor me!!!

But like I said, all the good luck with your Ducati!
And I want to see pics of it when you get it!!! =D

Maybe one day I'll have mine!
